Check that your operating system matches the available build. If SmartScreen, Gatekeeper, antivirus software, or an endpoint policy blocks the app, verify that the installer came from this page and review the release notes before retrying.
A license is not required just to read this page. If the product requires activation after install, use the license page for email, license key, offline use, and machine transfer details.

Fretboard Lab 0.1.9 hardens Microsoft Store offer refreshes without changing the product boundary: Community Edition keeps chord and voicing work across the fretboard and alternate tunings, while licensed workflows cover exports and saved projects.
Purchases and activation stay with the distribution channel you choose: website editions use an emailed license key; a Store build exposes native purchase only when that Store offer is published, and restores entitlements through your Microsoft account.
Use the NSIS setup executable for the Windows desktop build.
